Who we are

The Roseland Park Country Club is a private, member-run club which offers a variety of entertainments and activities to persons of all ages. The main areas of activity are centered in the Clubhouse, and on the lawn and the Tennis Courts, along with some off-site and home-and-home events. The clubhouse contains two main rooms with a total capacity of 169, and is licensed under the L.L.B.O.

The Club was registered in Ontario in the year 1929 as a corporation without share capital under the name ‘Roseland Park Country Club'. It operates as a Non-Profit Organization, and has managed to do so for over 75 years through the cooperative volunteer efforts of its members. The members find this activity not only rewarding in itself, but productive of a valued network of friendships.

The club is familiarly known as the ‘Roseland Club' to those who are close to it. Although mainly this is just a convenient contraction of the full club name, it may also be partly because the Club's location is no longer in the ‘Country', as once it was, but rather in an old residential area near the lake in the City of Burlington. But the word ‘Park' is still perfectly applicable to the club's setting, as the clubhouse, three tennis courts, and parking lot are surrounded by lawn and parkland area within a two and a half acre parcel of land.

Tennis for all ages and abilities ...

All Members are welcome at the courts, and whilst club play sessions are organised for those wanting to stretch their game, these courts are used by players of all abilities and ages so there's no need to feel awquard if you're a complete beginner to the game.

Playing arrangements on the three floodlit hard courts feature: daytime play, evening round robins, clinics and lessons with the Club pro, tournaments, special events, casual play, and evenings under lights. For kids, there is a May-June junior program, Saturday drop-in, June Family Fun Day, July camp, and Christmas party. Private and group lessons are available with the pro and assistant.
